BUBBA
Indica Hybrid
Subtlety is overrated. Bubba is a bud that prefers overt intimidation. It’s dense and it’s dank and it’s dark. It’s pungent and peppery. But more than anything, it’s potent. All of this makes Bubba a big indica for people who love big indicas—people who think subtlety is for suckers.
Bubba - a big indica for people who love big indicas. Bubba has roots on the west coast, first grown by Sea to Sky in Vancouver by crossing Death Star with the indica fan favourite Bubba Kush. With such potent parents it’s no surprise that consumers find that this aptly named strain has the standard hard hitting affects you’d find in strong indica dominant strains. Unless you’re looking for a daytime nap, Bubba is best used in the evening.

Aroma
A unique combination of terpenes makes Bubba one of the dankest buds out there.
Multi-coloured Pistils
Fiery orangish red pistils flowing through the bud are a signature trait of Bubba.
Trichome Coverage
There’s no shortage of trichome coverage when it comes to Bubba. It is known for having a thick layer of cloudy white trichomes.
Bubba bud is unique in both appearance and smell making it a very complicated and nuanced strain. It is both dark green and purple with orange-ish red pistils, combining to give the bud an almost grey appearance unlike anything else you’ve ever seen. It’s smell is best described as dank, dank, dank! Popping that top will quickly fill the room with a unique smell that you will not soon forget. It’s part gassy, part skunky with some pungency thrown in for good measure. When consuming you will get notes of clove, hops and pepper. The diesel takes a backseat to the herbs and spices in your mouth, where the hoppy, peppery flavour really comes on strong.

Bubba is a relatively finnicky plant to grow requiring a deft hand and lots of attention. Similar to the smell of the dried flower, Bubba is extremely pungent while flowering. Given the right conditions and attention, Bubba will reward you with dank and stinky buds with THC levels reaching the high 20’s and a terpene profile any Master Grower would be proud of.
Top Leaf grows its Bubba in small-scale grow rooms that allow the Cultivators to give it the specific light and feeding schedule needed to maximize terpenes and THC levels. It is then hang dried before being cured for at least 28 days to ensure a rich and flavourful smoking experience. It is then trimmed before being hand-finished and hand bottled.
